Why Is There A Need For A Chief Process Officer?

Kevin Craine, award winning producer of the Digital Transformation Podcast asks George Dunn, President of CRE8 Independent Consultants  in Part 1 of this interview, “Why is there a need for a Chief Process Officer?” George shares that after conducting hundreds of process improvement studies for organizations (improving efficiency, quality, service, governance) he finds that most organizations will wait till a process has reached a crisis (letter from regulator,  staff issues, customer complaints,  employee turnover) and then reach out for help.

George believes that for many organizations the answer is a Chief Process Officer (fractional or full time).  A CPI will support process improvement continuity, continuous improvement, and an organizational focus on the process.
